My dear Blackett,
I am sorry to bother you again about Hong
Kon, but there is an important matter on which I
think I ought to consult you.
Our latest information indicates that
the site proposed for the Company's wireless station
is at a place called Pingshang, which is in the
north-west corner of the leased territory. On the
other hand, Dorling of the Admiralty tells me that
he has heard that the site proposed is on the
island. I believe he heard this from Vyvyan, your
Engineer. Can you give me definite information on
the point? If you have actually decided on a site
on the island, i don't think there is anything more
to be said. If, on the other hand, the leased
territory site is still contemplated, I should like
to have some conversation on the subject either with
you or with Vyvyan.
Yours sincerely,
SIK BASIL BLACKETT, K.U.E.
